I’ve been getting a lot of asks about the best way to go about getting Insane in the Membrane since yesterday, and most guides are out of date, so I’m going to write my own if for some reason you want put yourself through this misery.
First of all, you do not need to be both honoured with the Bloodsail Bucaneers and exalted with the Steamwheedle factions at the same time. I wasn’t. It may have been like that in the past, but it’s not now. If you want to track your achievement progress, just type /run AddTrackedAchievement(2336). Secondly, be prepared to waste a lot of your time. To put it bluntly, working on this achievement sucks. A lot. There’s a reason it’s called “the Insane”. I soloed the achievement in its entirety. I do not recommend this. Bribe your friends into helping you. Please.
